How much will I get paid?

There are a few factors to consider here, as your total payment per session will include your hourly wage, payment for 10-minutes of note-taking time after every session and superannuation. Your hourly wage and note-taking time will all be paid to you fortnightly. Superannuation accounts for an extra 10% and is paid into your superannuation account directly. To see how your take-home wage is calculated, see the formula below:

Total wage = Hourly wage (see table below) + Note taking + Superannuation

For a typical 1-hour-long session, the total wage for a therapy assistant is: $46.20

Weekdays (Monday – Friday) $39.60/hour
Saturday $53.90/hour
Sunday $68.20/hour
Public Holidays $83.60/hour
Note Taking  $6.27/session

For a typical 1-hour-long session, the total wage for a therapy assistant is: $42.00

Weekdays (Monday – Friday) $36.00/hour
Saturday $49.00/hour
Sunday $62.00/hour
Public Holidays $76.00/hour
Note Taking $5.70/session
